If you want to get in shape while experiencing the rich natural landscape of Salou, we recommend you do the Camino de ronda. Don’t forget your binoculars, since at the end of the path it is possible to observe a large variety of native birds.

So low-cost that entrance is free. You’ll be interested to know that the lighthouse was inaugurated at the end of the 19th century and that today the central red tower still stands that has lit up the Gulf of Sant Jordi for more than 170 years. Nearby you can see native plants like the asparagus, white pine or sea lily.

Paseo de Jaume I

Paseo de Jaume I

If you stroll along Paseo de Jaume I at night, you’ll find illuminated fountains and the cybernetic fountain near the port.
This fountain, with more than 1,000 jets and geysers, was designed by Carles Buïgas, who was also the creator of the Montjuïc fountain in Barcelona.
During the summer you can watch a show that combines choreographies and synchronized compositions of water, light and music.
