What do we do?

  • Electric vehicles for internal resort service.
  • Continued planting of vegetation that helps reduce emissions.
  • Internal mobility programme to reduce emissions.

Recommendation

  • Reduce the use of private vehicles.
  • Practising sustainable mobility.
  • Apply the three “R” rule (reduce, reuse and recycle).

What do we do?

  • AEROTHERMAL: Heat pump that uses a renewable energy source.
  • Implementation of LED lighting.
  • Installation of photovoltaic panels.
  • Automation of switching on and off in lighting and air-conditioning in common areas.

Recommendation

  • Maintain the right temperature in the accommodation. Recommended between 24-26ºC in summer.
  • Turn off lights when they are not needed.
  • When not in use, avoid leaving electronic devices plugged in.
  • Make the most of natural sunlight.

What do we do?

  • Drip irrigation system.
  • Timed taps in sanitary fittings.
  • Flow meters to prevent leakage.
  • Proper maintenance plan for swimming pools.

Recommendation

  • Do not flush waste down the toilet.
  • Shorten showers.
  • Make sure that taps are properly closed.
  • Do not have the water running while soaping the dishes.

What do we do?

  • Recycling point for the correct separation of waste.
  • Elimination of single-use plastics.
  • Distribution of containers around the resort, to deposit garba
  • Recycling points for batteries and oil in “La Colonial”.
  • Recycling of unusual objects (contact reception).
  • Digitalisation to save paper.

Recommendation

  • Separate rubbish so that it can be recycled.
  • Reduce the use of disposable products by using those that are recyclable.
  • Avoid using plastic bags.
  • Dispose of hazardous waste correctly.
  • Avoiding food waste.

What do we do?

  • Silence from 24:00 h to 7:00 h.
  • Sound limiters on stage.
  • Vehicles and power tools.

Recommendation

  • Respect rest hours.
  • Control the volume of TV and music in the accommodation.

What do we do?

  • Installation of beacons so as not to disturb customers during their rest hours.
  • Streetlights at key points and correct power to avoid disturbing customers.

Recommendation

  • Make the most of natural sunlight.
  • Use artificial lighting both indoors and outdoors in a consistent manner.
